Barker: Aces have worked very hard

Cape Town - Mpumalanga Black Aces technical director Clive Barker reveals that AmaZayoni has been hard at work ahead of the PSL season.

The former Bafana Bafana coach says their clash against Free State Stars in the Absa Premiership will be very challenging but remains confident in the work that coach Muhsin Ertugral has put in.

“You know beginning of every season; every club aims really high and wants to win the premiership,” Barker told Sport24.

“I must say that Black Aces have worked very hard and are ready for this season.

“Muhsin Ertugral is in charge as head coach and he’s done a lot of hard work.

“He’s really worked very hard and I hope he sees the results.”

Barker reveals that he can’t wait to see what they will produce on the field.

“It’s going to be a bit of a challenging game, played in a small ground and a lot of long balls will be passed around.

“Everybody will be trying to really compete.

“I am just hoping for the best but I trust the boys will play with all their hearts."

Aces take on Free State at the Goble Park stadium on Saturday, August 8.

Kick-off is at 15:00.
