Sport24 has been informed that no less than three PSL teams have enquired about the availability of the player.
However, teams will have to wait on new Chiefs coach, Steve Khomphela to make his own assessment of the Limpopo-born midfielder.
Baloyi was one of Swallows outstanding players in a disastrous campaign that saw the Soweto team relegated to the National First Division.
“Lucky is in high demand after a successful loan spell with Swallows last season and will be meeting Chiefs for a way forward as a number of teams have already made enquires about his availability in the new season,” the source said.
“The player is disappointed that Swallows have been relegated, but he is satisfied with his growth during the loan spell at the Dube Birds.”
The Limpopo-born midfielder was handed the captain’s armband last season at Swallows where he played 26 times scoring just once.
