Arrows trio impresses Letsoaka

Cape Town - Golden Arrows coach Serame Letsoaka is excited by the combination of Rodney Ramagalela, Mwape Musonda and Mabhuti Khenyeza, following the 1-0 win over University of Pretoria.

Arrows picked up maximum points in Letsoaka's maiden match as coach when Ramagalela grabbed the winning goal in the 39th minute at the Chatsworth Stadium.

The new signings, Ramagalela and Musonda, helped secure the maiden win in the club's return to the Premiership despite playing with 10-men.

Arrows goalkeeper Maximilian Mbaeva was red carded for handling a Lennox Bacela shot outside the box in the 22nd minute.

"They are showing good signs and if you look at the three strikers we have, Ramagalela will give you the pace and Musonda will give you the strength on the ball and he is quite strong as well," Letsoaka told KickOff.

"We have Mabhuti who can play any way you want him to be, so I'm happy with a striking force and it gives us hope.

"Going forward, I think we will go into our second game having more confidence and they will able to play a little better."

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
