Cape Town - Golden Arrows will look to end Black Aces’ unbeaten run in the Absa Premiership when the teams meet at King Zwelithini Stadium.

Arrows picked up their second win of the season when they beat Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 at home on September 12.

The Durban side has won both of their two home matches so far this season.

Abafana Bes’thende are placed seventh on the Absa Premiership log with seven points from four matches.

Aces racked up a fourth unbeaten match when they held Orlando Pirates 1-1 away on September 18.

The Mpumalanga side has picked up four points from their two away matches so far this season.

AmaZayoni are placed fifth on the Absa Premiership log with eight points from four matches.

In head-to-head stats, Arrows and Aces have met in six league matches since 2009/10.

AmaZayoni have three wins compared to two for Abafana Bes’thende, while just one match has been drawn.

Arrows have won two of their three home matches against Aces, suffering one defeat in the process.

When the teams last met in the 2013/14 season, AmaZayoni claimed a league ‘double’ by winning 1-0 at home and 2-1 away.

The Mpumalanga club has put together a run of three straight league wins over Abafana Bes’thende.

Kick-off is at 19:30 on Wednesday, September 23.
