Amakhosi motivated for MTN8 semi - Shabba

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs captain Siphiwe Tshabalala tells Sport24 that the players are motivated ahead of their MTN8 second leg semi-final encounter against Bloemfontein Celtic at the FNB Stadium.

Tshabalala said that they know they have had mixed results in the past few games but this one they want to win, and reach the final to defend their trophy.

"There is nothing more to motivate us because by just the factor that we are in the semi-finals the players are motivated," Tshabalala said.

“They want to go all out and reach the finals but to do that we have to overcome Celtic who gave us a tough time, though we came back with a draw.

“There is no chance for a draw today which means we have to be better than them. They will also want to be better than us.

“You know there is no extra time so we have to win the game in 90 minutes.

“We have to avoid penalties at all costs.”

Saturday night's match kicks off at 20:!5.
