According to KickOff, Stuart Baxter has been keeping an eye on the 28-year-old as he seeks to bolster up Amakhosi’s attack.

Chilli Boys coach Roger Sikhakhane reveals that he is not surprised that Chiefs are interested in the player but nothing has been confirmed yet.

"I do not know if Chiefs will table an offer for the player. That is not my department so I cannot comment on that,” said Sikhakhane.

"However, I am not really surprised that these big clubs are interested in his services. He is a quality player, certainly one of our key players.”

"He is in our plans for the future because he is very important to the club. However, I will support him even if he decides to move away from the club.”

Chippa are up against AmaZulu on Saturday, October 18 at the Princess Magogo Stadium as the Absa Premiership resumes.

Kick-off is at 18:00.
