AmaZulu chase three points

Cape Town - AmaZulu will look to continue their Absa Premiership revival when they host Free State Stars at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

AmaZulu extended their unbeaten run to four league matches when the claimed a 1-1 draw away to Chippa United last month.

The Durban club has claimed seven points from 10 home matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Kaizer Chiefs (away), Polokwane City and Platinum Stars (both home).

Usuthu are placed 16th on the Absa Premiership log with 17 points from 23 matches.

Stars suffered a second successive league defeat when they were beaten 2-1 at Moroka Swallows in their last outing.

The Free State side has claimed six points from 12 away matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Ajax Cape Town (home), Polokwane City (away) and Bidvest Wits (home).

Ea Lla Koto are placed 14th on the Absa Premiership log with 22 points from 23 matches.

In head-to-head stats, AmaZulu and Stars have met in 46 league matches since 1986.

Ea Lla Koto have 19 wins compared to 15 for Usuthu, while 12 matches have been drawn.

AmaZulu have won nine of their 22 home matches against Stars, suffering six defeats in the process.

When the teams met earlier this season in the Free State they played out a goalless stalemate.

Kick-off is at 15:00 on Saturday, April 4.
