AmaTuks have gone four matches without a league win and held Platinum Stars 0-0 away in their last outing.

The Tshwane side has lost both of their two previous home matches this season which lifted speculation that Steve Barker was set to lose his job as head coach. Rumours were then put to bed by AmaTuks after stating that the club is still happy with the 46-year-olds service.

Their next three league opponents are Bloemfontein Celtic (home), Maritzburg United (away) and Ajax Cape Town (home).

AmaTuks are placed 13th on the Absa Premiership log with six points from seven matches.

SuperSport recorded a second successive win when they beaten Bloemfontein Celtic 3-0 in their last outing.

The Tshwane side has lost both of their two previous away matches this season that was when Cavin John was still at the helm.

Their next three league opponents are Maritzburg United (home), Ajax Cape Town and Moroka Swallows (both away).

Matsatsantsa are placed ninth on the log with nine points from seven matches.

In head-to-head stats, Tuks and SuperSport have met in four league matches since 2012/13.

Matsatsantsa have an unbeaten record, with three wins and a draw from the quartet of matches.

Tuks have recorded one draw and one defeat from their two home matches against United.

Last season Matsatsantsa claimed a league ‘double’ over their cross-town rivals, winning 1-0 both home and away.

Kick-off is at 15:00 on Saturday, October 18.
