AmaTuks first up for Barker

Cape Town - AmaZulu will target their first Absa Premiership win of the season when they host University of Pretoria at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

AmaZulu suffered their seventh defeat of the season in their last league outing, going down 4-2 away to Platinum Stars.

The Durban side has claimed one point from their four home league matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Black Aces (home), Maritzburg United and Ajax Cape Town (both away).

Usuthu are placed 16th on the Absa Premiership log with four points from 11 matches.

Tuks have claimed seven points from the last nine up for grabs and held Orlando Pirates to a goalless draw in their last outing.

The Tshwane side has recorded nine points from six away matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Maritzburg United (away), Mamelodi Sundowns (home) and Polokwane City (away).

AmaTuks are placed 12th on the Absa Premiership log with 13 points from 12 matches.

In head-to-head stats, AmaZulu and Tuks have met in four league matches since 2012/13.

The Pretoria side has two wins to their name compared to one for Usuthu, while one match ended in a draw.

AmaZulu have an unbeaten home record against Tuks, with their two matches as hosts producing one win and one draw.

Last season AmaTuks took four points off Usuthu, winning 2-0 in Tshwane before playing out a goalless draw in Durban.
