Ajax upbeat ahead of CT Challenge

Cape Town - The Cape Town Challenge 2014 will commence this upcoming weekend at the Athlone Stadium on Friday 25th and 27th July 2014.

This will be a great curtain raiser for the upcoming 2014/2015 PSL season.

The club's website is reporting that the Urban Warriors are looking forward to this prestigious cup as this will be their first competitive challenge in their pre-season preparations.

Since the return of the Warriors pre-season camp in George, training sessions have been underway and new signings are close to being completed.

In addition, two friendly matches against NFD teams Milano United and Vasco Da Gama were played on Tuesday 22nd July at Ikamva grounds.

Head coach Roger de Sa: "The two friendly matches were a good exercise, the squad is as ready as can be. This weekend will be great preparation for the upcoming season, so far so good."

"New signings will also be featured this weekend in the Cape Town Challenge, the likes of Robin Ngalande" de Sa added.
