Ajax to welcome back Cale

Cape Town - SuperSport United's Franklin Cale is scheduled to undergo a medical before completing a move back to Ajax Cape Town.

According to Football 411's website, Cale has become surplus to requirements at SuperSport United, only managing 10 league starts for Matsatsantsa last season.

Cale signed for the three-time PSL champions from Pretoria rivals Mamelodi Sundowns in 2012.

However, the midfielder has since been handed a lifeline by the Urban Warriors, the club he launched his career with in 2004 as a 21-year-old and is set for a return to the Mother City.

A fee and terms have already been agreed between the two clubs, with only a medical to be done to complete the deal.

Cale left Ajax early in 2010 when he joined Sundowns.
