Ajax saw their winless streak extended to seven games when they were held 1-1 by Polokwane City earlier this month.

The Cape side has claimed 19 points from 10 home matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Kaizer Chiefs, SuperSport United (both away) and Black Aces (home).

The Urban Warriors are placed seventh on the Absa Premiership log with 25 points from 19 matches.

Chippa saw their winless run in the league extended to seven matches when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Maritzburg United earlier in the month.

The Eastern Cape side has claimed seven points from nine away matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Polokwane City (home), Orlando Pirates (away) and AmaZulu (home).

The Chilli Boys are placed 11th on the Absa Premiership log with 23 points from 19 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Ajax and Chippa have met in three league matches since 2012/13.

The Urban Warriors have an unbeaten record in that sequence, with one win and two draws.

Ajax’s only previous home match against Chippa was a 3-2 win in the first half of the 2012/13 season.

When the Chilli Boys and Urban Warriors met earlier this season, goals from Ntshingila and Nkoana saw the match end in a 1-1 draw.

Kick-off is at 20:00 on Friday, February 27.
