Ajax strikes deal with Zimbabwean

Cape Town - Zimbabwean striker, Thomas Chideu, who was on trials at Ajax Cape Town, is reportedly close to signing after the Urban Warriors offered the Highlanders striker a two-year deal.

News coming out of Zimbabwe is that the 18-year-old did very well during his one week stay, and now what remains to be sorted is the deal between the two sides.

The source told Sport24 that the player's agent said that everything is going according to plan.

"His agent Gabriel Mahachi told me that Ajax Cape Town are happy with the player and they want to sign him," the source said.

“He said that they have offered him a two year deal and now it's between Highlanders and Ajax to finalise the deal.”
