Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town came from a goal down to beat Moroka Swallows 2-1 in a thrilling encounter at the Athlone Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Lantshene Phalane had the Dube Birds ahead on 63 minutes, but Riyaad Norodien and substitute Thabiso Nkoana scored late on the seal the result.

Swallows got off the a good start but were unable to make their dominance count, missing several chances. Siyabonga Nomvethe and Lucky Baloyi were both guilty of spurning first-half opportunities against a solid Urban Warriors backline.
