Ajax CT to analyse Sporting

Cape Town - With the Cape Town Cup just a few weeks away, Ajax Cape Town Video Analyst, Paul Lamb, reveals how the technical team will analyse Sporting Lisbon in preparation for the highly anticipated encounter between the two sides.

Video Analyst, Paul Lamb, reveals that the technical team will look at some footage from Sporting Lisbon last few matches, as well as their newly appointed head coach Jorge Jesus, who signed on 5 June 2015, from Lisbon rivals Benfica.

"We’ll look at their last three or four games to see their style of play. It will be difficult to judge because they’ve lost a few players and have a new coach," said Lamb on the club's official website.

"We can’t take too much from their style of play, because of the fact that their new coach will implement his own style of play on the team.

"We will also look at a few of Benfica’s games from last season, to see the coach’s style of play. We also need to look at some of their key players and also their new signing Brian Ruiz, who is a top player."

The 2015 Cape Town Cup is set to kick off at 17:45 on 24 July at Cape Town Stadium with SuperSport United FC and Crystal Palace FC, which will be followed by Ajax Cape Town vs Sporting Lisbon at 20:15.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
