The Mamelodi Sundowns duo have been excluded from most of the proceedings during the course of the past Premiership season and there has been tremendous speculation that they would be loaned out during the current transfer window.

Mthembu, who is concerned by the lack of football being played by his two clients, said the ball was ultimately in Sundowns’ court.

"It's definitely a cause for concern, but as you rightly know, the two players are still contracted to Sundowns and only they can decide whether they want to loan them out or keep them," Mthembu told goal.com.

"For now, Sundowns have not said anything in that direction [that they will loan them out], but I will sit down with the two players either on Wednesday or Thursday to discuss this and see what's best for them."
