AmaKhosi confirmed last week that Mashamaite would leave the club after failing to agree terms on a new contract.
His sensational exit - alongside Stuart Baxter, Itumeleng Khune and Mandla Masango - has sparked interest from several Premiership heavyweights.
However, Mahlakgane insisted that he had not received any offers from any of the clubs mentioned as yet.
"He has been linked to Sundowns forever," Mahlakgane told PowerFM.
"If there was an interest I should have an offer on my lap to say we're interested in the player and this is what we're offering and unfortunately or fortunately we don't have that.
"The thinking in SA is that if it's not Chiefs, it's Pirates or Sundowns and then you escalate it down to maybe Wits or SuperSport, but in this case it's none of them. I don't have an offer from any of these clubs.
Mahlakgane added that Mashamaite has no ill feelings towards Chiefs over his exit, saying that sometimes player demands don't fall in line with club budgets.
Sport24 reported that Mahlakgane rubbished claims that contract talks with Chiefs fell through due excessive wage demands.
