Cape Town - Mike Makaab, agent of Andile Jali, has confirmed that the Bafana Bafana midfielder will join Belgian club KV Oostende from Orlando Pirates, subject to a medical.
According to Prosport International's website, Makaab feels the move will take Jali's career to the next level.
He had been in discussions with Pirates over a new contract, but after failing to agree terms, the club accepted a fee for his services.
Makaab believes Jali is making the right career move, as the Belgian Jupiler League has a great track record of improving African players.
"Oostende have been bought out by new, wealthy owners and we, at Prosport International, share with the new owners the vision to build Andile Jali up as a player and enable him to move on to an even higher level in Europe," Makaab told KickOff.com.
"Mickey Paiva actually invited Oostende down to South Africa to have a look at him as they were looking for a midfielder in his position.
"Jali leaves tonight for a medical in Belgium and it is a done deal with Pirates, subject to the medical."
