Aces close in on Masango?

Cape Town - Mpumalanga Black Aces are close to sealing a deal to sign Mandla Masango, who was earlier this week was announced among the Kaizer Chiefs players leaving the club.

A source at Aces said Masango has a special relationship with new coach, Muhsin Ertugral, and Aces are willing to break the bank for his services.

“You see the Ertugral factor might work wonders in bringing Masango to Aces and we are all hopeful he will join the club.” the source told Sport24.

“He is a quality player and we are all excited at the prospect of having him at Aces.”

The source said the team is also in search of a defensive midfielder.

“There have been a number of players discussed, but nothing is final at the moment,” said the source.

“The management of this team is very ambitious and Ertugral also wants to have a quality side to push the country’s big guns,” he said.
