'Ace' signs for Matsatsantsa

Cape Town - SuperSport United have confirmed the signing of Thanda Royal Zulu striker Phumelele "Ace" Bhengu.

Ace will team up with the rest of the United squad as from July 1, 2015 reports the club's website.

The 25-year-old striker recently won the NFD Golden Boot at the PSL awards after scoring a remarkable 22 goals in 28 matches for the Richards Bay side, this helped them to secure fourth spot in the NFD.

Bhengu has played in the junior national teams, was part of the Under-20 World Cup squad that played in Egypt and a present member of the Bafana Bafana squad competing in the Cosafa Cup.
