Cape Town - The 2015/16 Absa Premiership appears to be a three-horse race for the title, according to bookmakers...

While some teams have played as many as 10 matches (others as few as eight), Wits currently top the standings on 23 points (10 matches), ahead of Mamelodi Sundowns (20 points after 10 matches), and Black Aces (18 after 10).

South African giants Kaizer Chiefs currently find themselves in fifth (17 after 10), while Orlando Pirates are languishing in 10th (11 after 9).

SA bookmakers Sportingbet have installed Gavin Hunt's Wits side as 7/4 favourites, ahead of Sundowns (12/5) and Amakhosi (5/2).

Black Aces and Platinum Stars (18 after 9) are considered 'best of the rest' at 16/1.
