Cape Town - Roggert Nyundu has told Sport24 that he does not mind playing in the NFD again if he is offered a decent contract, despite courting PSL interest.
Nyundu is desperately trying to get out of his contract with Polokwane City after feeling ill-treated by the club.
“No chance, no chance, I would rather stay at home and let the contract run out,” Nyundu told Sport24 when asked whether Polokwane had a chance to turn things around with him.
The striker is believed to have been on a four-figure salary at Rise and Shine and is now after any contract that can provide him and his family with better pay.
“I want to have a signing on fee, I want to have a better salary, I don’t care which team even if I have to go back to the NFD,” Nyundu said.
Nyundu insisted that his contract with Polokwane City had to be sorted out before looking at any new club but he wouldn’t write off the rumours that have him linked with a move to AmaZulu, although he couldn’t comment on whether any club had been in contact with him or not.
“I have the quality to do what I have done again so if AmaZulu can come again saying that they are looking for my signature, if the offer is good then I will take it.”
