Moses Mabhida venue for final

Johannesburg - The 2013 Nedbank Cup final between Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United will take place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

The match is scheduled to take place on May 25, with a 15:00 kick-off.

The news was confirmed by both teams via their Twitter profiles, @Kaizer_Chiefs and @SuperSportFC respectively.

Kaizer Chiefs confirmed the news, tweeting:"(sic) Nedbank Cup Final: SuperSport United vs Kaizer Chiefs, Moses Mabhida Stadium, 25 May 2013, 15h00 #NedbankCup #Amakhosi4Life"

SuperSport United also confirmed the news after tweeting that they have been drawn as the home team for the clash, which would mean that they would have preference regarding the change rooms, kit strips and time of practice.

United secured their passage to the final courtesy of a thrilling 3-2 victory over Platinum Stars.

Chiefs became the first team to advance to the final when they ousted National First Division outfit United FC 2-1 at the weekend.

Matsatsantsa are the defending champions, while Chiefs will be hoping to complete a domestic double, should they wrap up the PSL title next weekend.
