WATCH: Ronaldo scores screamer for Madrid

Cape Town - Cristiano Ronaldo scored a sensational second goal for Real Madrid in a 2-1 win against Fiorentina in the Santiago Bernabau Trophy.

The 32-year-old scored a sensational winner for Los Blancos in the 33rd minute with the scores tied at 1-1, after Borja Mayoral had equalised for Madrid in the 7th minute, three minutes after Fiorentina had taken a surprise lead.

Ronaldo finished a blistering counter-attack with a trade mark finish by cutting in from the left flank and unleashing an unstoppable effort into the top corner.

The current World Player of the Year is currently serving a five-match suspension for shoving a referee after being sent-off in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup against Barcelona.

Ronaldo took to social media to reiterate his anger at what he described as the "incomprehensible decision" to reject his final appeal against the five-match ban on Tuesday.

Spain's administrative sports court (TAD) dismissed Real Madrid's latest appeal for the suspension handed out.
