Cape Town - Rogelio Gabriel Funes Mori, twin brother of former Everton defender, Ramiro Funes Mori has set Twitter alight by scoring the 'goal of the year' in Mexico's Liga MX, on Wednesday.
Funes Mori, who plays as a striker - instead of as a defender like his better-known brother - scored the only goal of the game in the 60th minute with a sensational overhead-kick.
The goal gave Monterrey in a 1-0 win over defending league champions, Santa Laguna in the first-leg of the Apertura quarter-finals.
The 27-year-old was soon trending worldwide on Twitter with fans calling it the "goal of the year".
The former Benfica striker produced a quality finish by cushioning a cross from the right flank with his chest before unleashing an unstoppable acrobatic finish that left the goalkeeper with no chance.

The goal did leave some casual football fans confused though, with many having no idea that Villareal's Ramiro Funes Mori had a twin brother.
