Cape Town - Villarreal are bracing themselves for interest in midfielder Pablo Fornals, who is reported to be on the wanted list of Arsenal this summer.
Doubts continue to mount over Mesut Ozil's future with the English Premier League club following another inconsistent season and rumours that not all is well behind the scenes.
There has been suggestion he is out of favour with Gunners boss Unai Emery, who could look to replace him when the transfer window re-opens at the end of the season.
That has led to reports that Fornals is high on the Gunners wanted list following an impressive season with the Yellow Submarines in La Liga, where he has fired home four goals and provided five assists.
Fornals plays in the exact same position as Ozil and possesses all the same attributes, so it is no surprise to see him touted as the German's replacement.
The Gunners do not have a great deal of cash to spend in the summer and reports claim Villarreal will be looking for a fee in the region of £27 million should they decide to sell.
