Cape Town - In Paraguay a stray dog has become Paraguayan club 2 de Mayo's "assistant coach" after refusing to leave head coach Carlos Saguier's side.
Saguier one day fed the dog, named Tesapara, a piece of 'Empanda' - a pasty enjoyed in Latin America - and she hasn't left his side since.
Tesapara is often pictured during matches in the dugout or at the club during the week taking part in training sessions.
When she isn't allowed in the technical area at games, she can be seen watching on from the stands.
Under head coach Saguier, 2 de Mayo find themselves joint-second in the second division standing after a 3-1 victory on Sunday over River Plate, not to be mistaken for the Argentinian giants bearing the same name.
