Cape Town - Manchester
City centre-back John Stones has backed England team-mate Harry Kane to
maintain his goal scoring form for the national team.
The Three Lions are preparing to take on Slovenia and Lithuania in their last two World Cup qualifiers, and Stones is eager to see Kane add to his 13 goals from his last eight games.
The Tottenham striker got his scoring streak going while on duty with England, scoring a brace against Malta, and kept it going for Spurs, most recently netting another double against Huddersfield at the weekend.
"I've played with him from England Under-19s so I know his game and how he plays, how hungry he is to keep improving," said Stones, according to the Daily Mail.
"Harry's been doing it for years now and I think he's got that hunger that he'll keep doing it. He is in great form for his club and he's raring to go and bring that into international football. It's great to have him here for England."
