Spurs face Gunners in League Cup quarters

Cape Town - Tottenham Hotspur will face London rivals Arsenal in the quarter-final of the League Cup after the draw was completed on Wednesday.

Making up the rest of the competition after the winning of this week's fourth round clashes, includes Chelsea, Bournemouth, Middlesbrough, Burton Albion and Leicester or Southampton and Manchester City or Fulham.

Chelsea defeated Frank Lampard's Derby 3-2 in a pulsating tie on Wednesday and will now play Bournemouth after they defeated Norwich City 2-1.

Burton overcame Nottingham Forest 3-2 in their clash on Tuesday, making them the lowest ranked side left in the competition.

The League One side will next play Championship team Middlesbrough.

Leicester's clash with Southampton was postponed - with the eventual winner set to play either Manchester City or Fulham, who battle it out on Thursday night.

Games to be played week commencing December 17.
