Real Madrid left fuming by overweight Hazard

Cape Town - Real Madrid have been left disgruntled after new signing Eden Hazard showed up to their Montreal pre-season training base reportedly 7 kilos overweight.

This is the latest episode in a drama for head coach Zinedine Zidane with his new signings failing to impress, the continued tension from the Gareth Bale transfer saga and a heavy 7-3 defeat to rivals Atletico Madrid.

Sources claim president Florentino Perez has lost faith in the Belgian and has distanced himself from the transfer by saying he signed Hazard - in a £150 million move - only at the request of Zidane.

Zidane has a difficult few weeks before the start of the La Liga season as he seeks to move Bale on from the club as well as Marco Asensio being ruled out for the season with a cruciate ligament injury.
