Reaction to Euro 2016 draw

Paris - Who's saying what about the Euro 2016 draw, which was made in Paris on Saturday:

"We are very pleased Wales have done so well, and whichever of the teams we got in that pot, it would be tough. Why not have a tough one close to home?" -- England manager Roy Hodgson on being drawn in Group B with Wales.

"It was more to do with the hype surrounding the game. There are three games to play and we can't get caught up with just playing England." -- Wales manager Chris Coleman on previous comments that he had wanted to avoid facing Roy Hodgson's side.

"Tough @UEFAEuro draw but cannot wait to get out to France, all starting to sink in now! #TogetherStronger" -- Wales superstar Gareth Bale on Twitter.

"Switzerland, even if we did well against them at the last World Cup (winning 5-2 in the group stage in Brazil), they're still a good team, they're the strongest opposition in this group without meaning to offend the other two teams." -- France coach Didier Deschamps on facing the Swiss, Albania and Romania in Group A.

"It is more difficult than I thought it would be." -- Spain coach Vicente Del Bosque on facing the Czech Republic, Turkey and Croatia in Group D.

"The road to #EURO16 is the same as ever: humility, hard work and unity. Vamos, @SeFutbol !" -- Spain defender Sergio Ramos on Twitter.

"I am happy with our Euro 2016 group. Hold back against us, Lewy!" -- Germany's Thomas Mueller on Twitter on the prospect of facing Bayern Munich colleague Robert Lewandowski and his Poland side.

"The Republic of Ireland took four points off Germany (in qualifying) so that gives us hope -- we beat the Republic 6-0 in a behind closed doors game recently so we did!" -- Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill on the prospect of facing the world champions.

"Sweden have Ibrahimovic and everything hinges on him." -- Italy coach Antonio Conte knows where the danger will come from when the Azzurri take on Sweden.

"I thought I was looking forward to the draw an hour and a half ago but maybe I'm not so sure now." -- Republic of Ireland coach Martin O'Neill after discovering who his side will come up against in France.

"This is obviously a tough draw. A group of death? No, those do not exist -- it's a tough draw, nothing more." -- Belgium coach Marc Wilmots on being pitted against Italy, Ireland and Sweden.

"We are always optimistic. It wouldn't matter who is in the group. To be honest I think we could have been more unlucky. We are not coming here for fun. We have shown in qualifying that we have a chance against almost everyone." -- Iceland's joint coach Heimir Hallgrimsson.
