Cape Town - Leicester City manager Claude Puel believes the Carabao Cup is an ideal opportunity for his fringe players to showcase their quality.
The Foxes will travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers for their EFL Cup third-round clash on Tuesday night, and Puel is hoping his side can deliver a good performance.
The French tactician has revealed that he will most likely give players who need game time an opportunity to impress at Molineux Stadium.
"We will see," Puel told the club's official website. "Of course, we have a good opportunity to maintain a good level in the team on the pitch, but with different players.
"We have a good squad and it's important to continue in this competition and also important to give some game time to some players, young and experienced.
"It's an opportunity for us because we have a fantastic squad and we want to give them game time. I will pick a team with the ability and the quality to win the match.
"If we're going to be successful in this competition, it will be because of the quality in the squad, because 11 players cannot continue to play every three or four days every week.
"We have players in the squad with quality and experience, young players as well, and I am confident in their quality.
"I am sure we will put in a good performance and I hope for a good performance."
