Cape Town - Paris Saint-Germain record-signing Neymar has hit out at the club's hierarchy for green-lighting the sale of Brazilian compatriot Lucas Moura to Tottenham Hotspur.

Moura is expected to complete a £25 million move to the London club on transfer deadline day after finding his playing time limited this season in Paris.

The 25-year-old has fallen out of favour recently after the arrival of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe with PSG looking to offload a host of players to fall in line with FFP regulations.

"I'm sad, because he's a good friend, he's a quality player who was rarely used," said Neymar after PSG beat Rennes last night.

"I think it's very unfair. He is my brother in football. I wish him the best. Whatever the destination, I hope he will score a lot and he will return to the Brazilian national team.

"He's not just a friend, he's a very good guy. Here he could have been used a lot more but I'm not the owner of the team, not the owner of Paris. For me, he should never have left Paris."
