Manchester - Manchester
United manager Jose Mourinho is pleased with the form his side is in
following their 4-0 victory over Championship side Reading in the FA
Cup.
The third round win over the second-tier side was the Red Devils eighth consecutive win and Mourinho highlighted the performances of his attackers in particular.
"I think it's a very professional job with everybody really focused and trying to play well, which we did, and winning the match, which we should, against a team that gave us some difficult moments," he said after the win took United's unbeaten run to 14 games.
"The team was intense; the team was dynamic, playing well. [Anthony Martial] was fresh and again very objective playing against a good player.
"[Chris] Gunter is a good right-back and he performed very well again but I think [of] everybody, we could name lots of players, we could name [Marouane] Fellaini, we could name so many of them, but, overall, the team collectively played well again and we created lots of chances."
United now switch their attention to a semi-final first-leg tie against Hull City at Old Trafford on Tuesday night before a highly anticipated league encounter against Liverpool.
Kick off is at 22:00.
