Man City paired with Brighton in FA Cup semi-final draw

Cape Town - Pep Guardiola's Manchester City will face fellow Premier League outfit Brighton & Hove Albion in the FA Cup semi-finals.

City, who remain on course for the quadruple, came from 2-0 down at Swansea City to win 3-2 on Saturday evening and book their place in the last-four stage of the competition for the second time in three seasons.

Pep Guardiola's men will now take on Brighton at Wembley after the Seagulls staged their own remarkable comeback when coming from 2-0 down with just two minutes of normal time to draw 2-2, eventually beating Millwall 5-4 on penalties.

The second semi-final will see Watford, who dispatched Crystal Palace 2-1 in Saturday's quarter-final, take on Manchester United's conquerors Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Nuno Espirito Santo's men defeated the Red Devils 2-1 to reach this stage of the competition and they will be looking to reach the final for the first time since they last lifted the trophy in 1960.

The semi-final ties will be played on the weekend of 6-7 April.

FA Cup semi-final draw:

Watford v Wolverhampton Wanderers

Manchester City v Brighton & Hove Albion
