Ledley out of FA Cup final

Cape Town - Crystal Palace midfielder Joe Ledley will miss the FA Cup final against Manchester United, after tests revealed he has broken his fibula.

It was initially reported that Ledley has suffered an Achilles problem, but further inspection revealed worse news for his club and country managers, Alan Pardew and Chris Coleman.

Next weekend's Wembley showpiece will definitely come too soon for the 29-year-old, while it remains to be seen whether or not he'll be able to play in Wales' first major tournament in 57 years.

Wales kick off their Euro 2016 campaign on 11 June against Slovakia in Bordeux. Rivals England and Russia make up the rest of Group B.
