Kerr pumps up Gor ahead of SSU clash

Cape Town - Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr believes his players have every motivation to perform ahead of Sunday's CAF Confederations Cup first leg play-off against South Africa's SuperSport United.

Gor come into the contest in good form having won six and drawn once in their opening seven Kenyan Premier League matches.

Currently, the outfit from Nairobi are second in the standings behind Mathare United, but House of Ogalo have two games in hand.

Nonetheless, Kerr's men have every motivation to do well in the CCC having crashed out of the Champions League at the hands of Tunisia's ES Tunis.

"I keep telling my players every day, this game will be broadcasted across Africa,"he said.

"It's a chance for them to showcase their talent and who knows, it could open a new chapter for one or two.

"It's not golf or tennis that's an individual sport, this is an 11-a-side sport and if we do things as a team, you never know."

Meanwhile, SuperSport, who reached the final of the CCC in last season's tournament, are struggling domestically in SA's Premiership and currently are third from bottom in the table.
