Cape Town - Real
Madrid midfielder Isco believes his team have the capabilities to win
the Spanish La Liga and defend their Champions League crown this season.
Los Blancos are currently leading the standings on the league table, two points ahead of Barcelona with a game in hand, and are through to the quarterfinals of the Champions League, where they will meet Bayern Munich.
Spain international Isco feels they have the squad to win their first league title since the 2011/12 season while they would also be the first club to retain the Champions League trophy in the modern era.
Isco said, via Marca: "We are going through a very good moment in the season and have the chance to achieve our goals. We have the squad to win both tournaments.
"This team is accustomed to playing matches against difficult opponents and being aware of what is at stake, we will never lack motivation.
"There is a great desire to bring titles to our fans and bring them a lot of joy by doing so."
Meanwhile Madrid signed a €15-million sponsorship deal with Spanish telecommunications giant Telefonica on Thursday, the European champions said.
The two-year agreement will swell Real's coffers once more - Deloitte's Football Money League 2017 puts the Champions League winners third only to Manchester United and then great rivals Barcelona for annual revenue.
