Cape Town - Argentinian attacker Gonzalo Higuain was swamped by fans at a Milan airport as he arrived ahead of a move to Italian giants AC Milan.
Higuain is set to undergo medical tests on Thursday ahead of finalising his transfer to the San Siro who was also strongly linked to Chelsea.
Juventus and AC Milan are believed to be close to agreeing a swap deal that will see defender Mattia Caldara and Higuain move to AC Milan with Leonardo Bonucci returning to Juventus.
"I am happy, with this new adventure," Higuain told journalists. "A greeting to the Milan fans, and also those of Juventus. Tomorrow, I will undergo the medicals, and then sign the contract. I have talked with Gattuso."
The 30-year-old Higuain holds the record for the most goals ever scored in a single Serie A campaign with 36 goals while at Napoli.
