Cape Town - Samuel Eto'o has urged fellow African Mohamed Salah to move to Barcelona instead of Real Madrid after being linked with both of the La Liga giants.
Salah has been a revelation in the two seasons at Anfield since joining from Roma, banging in 54 goals in just 74 appearances for the Reds.
The Egyptian has won back-to-back Golden Boot awards in the Premier League and scored a penalty to help Liverpool win the Champions League in Madrid.
His goal scoring exploits have seen him linked with Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, and former Chelsea striker Eto’o has urged him to go to Camp Nou if he has the choice.
"Barcelona would be a better fit," said Eto’o.
"Real gave me the opportunity to leave Africa but I know Barcelona’s style and I think it would be better for him.
"If he has the chance to play in the best league of the world, which is the Spanish one, he has to sign for Barcelona.
"Mo has everything to be one of the best players in the world."
