Cristiano Ronaldo engaged to long-time girlfriend

Cape Town - Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly asked his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriquez to marry him according to reports in his native Portugal.

Correio da Manha report, that the Spanish beauty accepted Ronaldo's proposal and has already been trying on wedding dresses ahead of the big day.

The pair reside in Turin, Italy after Ronaldo's mega-deal transfer to Serie A champions Juventus for £100 million and have a one-year-old daughter, Alana Martina.

On a recent trip to London over the weekend, the couple sparked wedding rumours after being spotted wearing matching Cartier engagement rings.

"Cristiano has already asked Gio to marry him and the wedding will take place," a source told the Portuguese publication. "But few people know the details.

"All that is known at the moment is that Gio has already tried on some wedding dresses."

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner met Rodriquez in June 2016 at a Gucci department store in central Madrid where the 23-year-old worked.

Rodriguez has also posted a bunch of cryptic pictures on Instagram showing off her new ring.
