Arsenal draw Chelsea in League Cup semi-final

Cape Town - Chelsea and Arsenal will face off in the League Cup semi-final while Bristol City travel north again, this time to face the indomitable Manchester City.

The Gunners had Danny Welbeck to thank for their 1-0 win over West Ham United on Tuesday, while Alvaro Morata scored in the 91st minute to cancel out a 90th-minute equaliser from Bournemouth as the Blues beat the Cherries 2-1 on Wednesday.

Korey Smith scored a stoppage-time winner to hand Bristol City a 2-1 win over Manchester United on Wednesday after Zlatan Ibrahimovic had cancelled out Joe Bryan's opener.

The Robins will now return to Manchester to face England’s best team this season, after City overcame Leicester City on penalties (4-3) following a 1-1 stalemate at the end of extra time.

The two-legged semi-finals will be played on the 9/23 January, with the final in late set for late February.
