Spurs aim for Europa progress

Cape Town - Tottenham will be looking to secure their place in the Europa League last-32 when they welcome FK Partizan to White Hart Lane on Thursday evening.

Spurs currently sit top of Group C having gone undefeated thus far, winning two and drawing two of their opening four matches, although they sit above second-placed Besiktas only on goal difference.

However, victory this week would secure the north London side their place in the first knockout round, while Besiktas can also achieve that feat if they beat Asteras Tripolis FC in the night's other Group C fixture.

Mauricio Pochettino's side will have to do it without striker Emmanuel Adebayor, defender Younes Kaboul and midfielder Etienne Capoue, who all also missed the 2-1 win over Hull City in the Premier League on Sunday, reports Football411.

In a boost for the English side, midfielder Nabil Bentaleb makes the matchday squad, having returned from a month out with an ankle injury to take part in training this week.

Kyle Walker remains some way off from a comeback, having only recently returned to training following eight months out with an abdominal problem.
