According to africanfootball.com website, Ghana Football Association Executive Committee had a meeting last week to confirm that Grant would fill the void left by Kwesi Appiah.

“We had a successful meeting with the minister,” said Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi.

“We briefed him on the details of the agreement reached with Avram Grant and he endorsed it.

“We now have to report back to the Executive Committee after which an official announcement will be made.”

Ghana qualified for the AFCON 2015 and came out top of their Group E. Grant would be in charge of the Black Stars during their AFCON campaign.
