Madrid eye move for Falcao

Madrid - Real Madrid president Florentino Perez says the club could try to land Monaco striker Radamel Falcao next summer.

Perez says the Colombia striker "won't come during the January transfer window but in June, who knows? Falcao wants to play for Madrid (...) I've been told."

Falcao joined French league leader Monaco in the summer on a reported €60 million transfer from Atletico Madrid.

Perez also expects Gareth Bale to play on Saturday against Malaga ahead of a Champions League date with Juventus.

The Madrid president told Punto Pelonta program that Bale is "training well and wants to play" and is "waiting for his chance on Saturday."

Bale trained apart from his teammates on Tuesday as he recovers from a chronic disc bulge in his back.
