Abidjan - The Ivory Coast Football Federation has named Michel Dussuyer and Henry Kasperczak in a list of five candidates for new coach of the African champions.
Dussuyer, the current Guinea coach, and former Mali boss Kasperczak have the most experience in African soccer.
The other three shortlisted are Patrice Neveu, who was most recently in charge of Mauritania, former Gabon coach Paolo Duarte, and Frederic Antonetti, who has no previous history with African teams.
The Ivorian federation says it will trim the list to three before deciding on a successor for Herve Renard, who led Ivory Coast to the African Cup of Nations title in February.
France's Dussuyer has previously worked as an assistant coach with Ivory Coast.
Poland's Kasperczak was head coach of Ivory Coast in the early 1990s.
