Cape Town - Kevin Grosskreutz believes Borussia Dortmund's poor run of form can be blamed on a spate of injuries that has affected them this season.
Mats Hummels, Marco Reus, Jakub Blaszczykowski, Ilkay Gundogan and Nuri Sahin have all missed games this term through injury as Dortmund slumped to 13th in the standings after seven rounds of action.
And Grosskreutz insists that Die Borussens will vastly improve once all their injured stars return to fitness.
"It's not only because many injured players are still to come back. We all swore to each other that now we will start to show our style of football again," he told reporters.
"We will start doing so on Saturday. We analysed our mistakes and now we can finally start showing our game, the game of Borussia Dortmund.
"We made too many mistakes. Our pressing was bad in the Bundesliga. We just didn't show good football recently. That has to be better in future and we have to stop making mistakes."
Dortmund take on FC Cologne on Saturday when league action resumes following the international break, with at least Reus and Gundogan set to make their returns.
