Cape Town - Nigeria defender Elderson Echiejile has vowed to help his side defeat South Africa on Wednesday to secure their place at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles currently occupy the final qualifying spot in Group A following Saturday's 2-0 win over Congo, and next face Bafana Bafana in Uyo this week, with the visitors already guaranteed top spot in the standings.
And while Nigeria need only match Congo's result against Sudan to book their place in next year's showpiece, Monaco left-back Echiejile is expecting nothing less than all three points against Shakes Mashaba's men.
"We did a great job in Congo on Saturday and we will complete this on Wednesday by beating South Africa to qualify for the Nations Cup," Elderson told his official website.
"Despite the intimidation and what have you, we showed guts to win in Congo.
"But we also know the job will only be completed when we beat South Africa in Uyo."
