Dunga slams Neymar

Cape Town - After his recent appointment as the headcoach of Brazil, Dunga has come out and slammed the country's leading player.

Neymar was ruled out of Brazil's humiliating 7-1 defeat to Germany but has still come under criticism from the Selecao's new coach.

Neymar had until that point kept the hosts in the tournament with some fine displays.

SBNation.com are reporting that Neymar has come under fire for a variety of lifestyle choices as well as his perceived lack of team unity.

Dunga is in charge of Brazil for the second time. His first appointment came to an end after Brazil's exit from the 2010 Soccer World Cup at the quarter-final stage.

In Dunga's first major press conference in charge of the national side, the former Brazilian player came out and warned Neymar of his future conduct.

"We will not play for Neymar, he will play for the team," Dunga said.

"I wouldn’t have allowed these players to dye their hair while they were with the national team. Either do it before or after, but they should be thinking about the World Cup."

"Neymar appears with a cap or without a cap. It should be [a Brazil cap]. We should be talking about what happens on the field."

Neymar is currently recovering from the fractured vertebrae he suffered in Brazil's win over Colombia.
