Cape Town - Real Madrid Spanish international goalkeeper has told the club he wants to stay until his current deal expires.
Casillas' future has been the subject of much speculation in recent months with David De Gea tipped to replace the veteran goalkeeper at the Champions League holders, possibly as soon as next season.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper told AS that he wants to stay at the club where he has been number one for the majority of his 14 years in the Spanish capital.
"I want to stay until 2017, when my contract ends.
"I want to end my career at Real Madrid.”
At Real Madrid, Casillas has won three Champions League medals, five Liga titles and has won the World Cup plus two European Championships with Spain.
